Tips for Finding Archived Instructions

WPG Serial Tag Label Example
  1. Locate the serial number label on your lifter (the label shown above is for example only).
  2. Identify the lifter’s power type (highlighted above in pink). Then open the corresponding archive folder.
  3. Identify the year when the lifter was manufactured (highlighted above in orange). Then open the corresponding archive folder (when applicable).

Rarely, there may be more than 1 archived file matching the year shown on the label. In this case, try using the last 4 digits of the Serial Number to guide you (highlighted above in green). For example, a smaller number indicates your lifter was manufactured earlier in a calendar year, so choose the file that shows the earlier date range. Another option is to view both files and compare their contents. You may also contact WPG’s Technical Sales Department for assistance.
