Wood’s Powr-Grip® lifters go to work placing glass for the top five stories of the luxurious No. 9 Walton Tower in downtown Chicago.

No. 9 Walton stands as a landmark ultra-luxury residential skyscraper in Chicago’s Gold Coast, combining refined architecture, exceptional finishes and amenities, and technically demanding construction.

The window-wall façade included challenging elements. Ventana Window Wall Systems supplied approximately 125,000 square feet of custom unitized window wall modules, with penthouse units measuring up to 20 feet tall by 10 feet wide and weighing more than 4,000 pounds each.
