A recent example is the redesigned valve release lever for our N-Series metal hand cups — including the best-selling 8" (20 cm) diameter N4950 model. This sleeker, more ergonomic lever gives users smoother control and greater comfort when releasing loads, while preserving the rugged dependability that professionals expect from Wood’s Powr-Grip.
Smarter Safety: Vacuum Loss Warning Buzzer Redesign
Innovation also drives our ongoing efforts to strengthen safety for WPG vacuum lifters. The Vacuum Loss Warning Buzzer (VLWB) is a perfect example. This device works on all our powered lifters (but is redundant on DC3 and AC3 models) and provides an audible warning if vacuum should drop to unsafe levels during lifter operation.
