Coated Glass Vacuum Pad from Wood's Powr-Grip

New Vacuum Pad for Use on Coated Glass Surfaces

Vacuum Pad for Coated Glass

A Need for Lifters That Can Handle Coated Glass

A year and a half ago, a large glass processing company needed a vacuum pad that could lift from the warm side of coated glass. It also could not leave any damaging mark or any residue on the surface. So our R&D Department at Wood's Powr-Grip set out to find just the right formula of rubber to meet their needs.

The Solution

The result was the Wood's Vacuum Pad for Coated Surfaces. This Vacuum Pad is specially formulated to handle low-E glass and other coated materials directly on the coated side - without leaving residue. As an added bonus, it can also handle painted or silk screened glass. The rubber can also handle materials up to 175° F [80° C]. » For more information about these pads, visit the WPG Dealer nearest you, or contact us.
