by David Peters

At Wood's Powr-Grip, we are constantly improving and expanding our product line to accommodate the needs of new industries world wide. Enter the new MTCL6FS625, a versatile vacuum lifter capable of handling metal panels, metal roofing and insulated panels in the cladding industry.

Since its introduction on the cladding scene two years ago, the MTCL6625DC has proven its worth by reducing panel damage and the number of installers required to do a job, while vastly increasing the speed and efficiency of cladding installation. In light of the current economic situation, the cladding industry has widely accepted this new vacuum lifter as a valuable tool for erecting structures faster and more efficiently while increasing the bottom line. There are several design factors that contribute to the success of the MTCL6625DC.

The MTCL6625DC sports a versatile pad frame that is capable of multiple configurations. For the customer, this means the freedom to adjust the lifter's pad frame to specific material dimensions. Because of the amazing number of ways the MTCL6625DC can be configured, it has become the tool of choice for those handling a variety of different sized cladding materials, in the shop or on the job site. Capable of handling loads ranging from 300 to 700 lbs [136 to 320 kg], the MTCL6625DC features a DC power source for maximum portability and manual tilt to facilitate proper load positioning.

The recent increase in new construction of steel panel and insulated panel buildings has also contributed to the success of the MTCL6625DC. This vacuum lifter is capably designed to excel in precisely these applications. Because of the increase in popularity of this vacuum lifter for cladding and building construction, Wood's Powr-Grip has placed the MTCL6625DC into its lease program. Scheduling is tight, but you can talk with one of our Technical Sales Representatives to arrange leasing and shipment of this vacuum lifter to arrive at your job site in a timely fashion. Additionally, many of our Dealers and Distributors engage in leasing programs of their own. Feel free to contact one of our Authorized Dealers for details on their sales and leasing plans.

The Dual Vacuum System is designed to reduce the risk of falling loads, which could result from breakage or other accidents that compromise one area of the vacuum system. In addition, it features audible and visible alarms that warn the operator whenever the vacuum level is not sufficient for lifting the maximum load weight. Complies with CE Standard EN 13155.
