Repair or Recertify Your Vacuum Lifter

lifters ready for repair

Regular maintenance of below-the-hook vacuum lifters is crucial, but often neglected. If you haven't done so yet, now is an excellent time to review the maintenance procedures for your suction lifters by referring to the instruction manual (or downloading one from our website). You can find common repair parts on our website too.

If you're not comfortable doing repairs yourself, Wood's Powr-Grip offers a great option: have your vacuum lifter repaired by a trained factory technician! Repaired vacuum lifters are re-certified and given the same one-year limited warranty provided with new vacuum lifters. Our manufacturing plant in Laurel, Montana, is the only authorized service center in North America, but there are others in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia & New Zealand. Repair duration and expenses will vary depending on the extent of structural damages. However, repairs represent a significant savings over the cost of buying new equipment.

Our technical service professionals always provide an estimate of the costs for your specific lifter and its issues, including larger production-line lifters. Please note that the repair costs do not cover the shipping of your lifter to and from our facility. To ensure safe transportation, we recommend placing the lifter in a suitable crate, such as our preformed shipping cases.

Besides factory repair services, Powr-Grip offers another option to have your vacuum lifter re-certified for safety. For a nominal fee, plus shipping, we will perform a structural evaluation of your vacuum lifter and provide a one-year limited warranty.

Lastly, don't forget about your handheld suction cups! With Wood's Powr-Grip Exchange Program, you can trade in your old metal Hand Cups and get discounted, like-new ones in return.
